| | | Re: Plz Help - Terrified! Sorry about your situation, I can't help with the rat/squil prob but if I were you I would try to get a reduction on the cost of the exterminators. It might work at this time of year (goodwill and all that) and it has been said that you can get some money off anything if you just ask. I'm an expert on begging get down on your knees, cry if you have to, but don't back down.
I do hope you get it sorted |

It may depend on what type of bait is used, of course.

| | | Re: Plz Help - Terrified! Squirrels do take bait The answer to either rats or squirrels is wait until you see them come out of the area - lots of patience is called for - and then block up th eholes!!! They wont be breeding at thistime of year so you wont be leavingyoung to starve. Poison makes them mad with thirst and it's a long time before they die - infacr they are shot before htey die normally...just cruel since other methods work. |

| | | Re: Plz Help - Terrified! I took a job working up a mountain looking after skiers, walkers, 12 cows, taking measurements, repairing the water piping etc. My first night in the berghut was quite a shock. There was no wood, had to go chop a pile, the pump didn't, which meant instead of a cuppa I had two large 40%s and went to bed, exhausted. All night long I could hear little mousey feet dancing (sounded like a polka). I woke more weary than I went to bed. Made the bed, fluffed up the pillow and found a squashed mouse. I didn't eat breakfast that morning.
Oh yes, don't talk to me about Dormice either! They wear hobnails. |

I do hope you get it sorted | I would have asked their price before they come out , but in reality you have to get something done once and for all, if the bill shocks you then yea haggle all the way, good luck. let us know the outcome please. sheila

| | | Re: Plz Help - Terrified! I've just noticed, since moving my desk and pc upstairs to the spare room, occasionally while I'm sitting here browsing the WAB forum I keep hearing a scratching noise in the corner of the ceiling ... god, I hope I haven't got the same thing. Ohh, just realised, my TV reception has got really bad recently ... and the big ariel is in the loft .. I bet the little boogers have bitten through the cable! <grrrr> | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
