Hello!
My colleague is in the process of setting up a pilot survey scheme with the mammal society to establish the effectiveness of various survey techniques for harvest mouse survey.
He is after volunteers to work Saturdays or even every other Saturday between December and February this winter. The survey sites are as yet not established but are likely to be in Oxfordshire.
If you are interested please drop me a line (on here or via PM). Full training in survey techniques and small rodent ID will be provided. |

Obviously its to far away for me but Ive got alot of experience with surveying this species and the species in general so if I can be of any help in that respect just PM me. |

Thanks folks anyway, I'd get involved too but then I wouldn't see my OH at all and that would be big trouble.... Also my first wildlife love is birds and I don't have enough time for them as it is! | | |
