Please Help Found Baby Mouse!have No Clue What To Do!

A few days ago my boyfriends parents ( no matter how much I asked them not too) put poisen down due to the mouse that his mum had spotted. today I spotted a baby mouse a smaller than my thumb about to be eated by their dog. I managed to get it in time and have put it in a box. It has fur and has its eyes open but is very small. I have no way to get a syringe for a few hours till my boyfriend gets back from golf. How else can I feed it? please help!!

It has its eyes open but it still would need milk right? I`m scared cos it looks like its going to sleep but im not sure if its just really dehydrated due to its mum being dead for a day or so??

try a straw or something hollow to suck water then put your thumb over the top ,offer the bottom to the wee thing and see if it will drink

Firstly, ensure the mouse is warm enough before attempting to feed it. Stuff lots of soft tissue/kitchen towel into the box you're keeping it so it can burrow into to keep warm and keep the box somewhere warm. A good emergency rehydration fluid is 1 tablespoon of boiled water mixed with tiny pinch of sugar and 4 or 5 grains of salt (leave to cool so fluid is tepid), then if you don't have a syringe, dip the end of a fine artist's paint brush/child's paint brush/similar into the fluid and gently drop onto the side of the mouse's mouth. If he licks the droplets, continue to feed him the fluid in this way.

Is it possible for me to keep him? As I dont know what else to do. I cant let him outside he would die right?

I dont have any of those things in the house!! my bf is going to be back in five minutes and were going to take it to pets at home and see if we can get him some mouse food and stuff!!

you'll have to try and improvise some sort of thing a match or a cotton bud dipped in the liquid hedgehoggy suggested will do
