Mammal ID please

Saw this little guy today and my first thought was Stoat or Weasel but then i had a closer look and now i'm flummoxed







no white on tail or anywhere else as far as i can see

Not a great photo, but good enough to show its a weasel.

Seems to have a shortish tail and I can't see any signs of a black tip, so it goes down as a weasel in my book. Neither stoat nor weasel have any white on the tail - stoat has a BLACK tail tip. Both have a white underside, and this seems to show, especially in the middle picture

Sorry, i meant to say black on tail but i cannot see any white underneath but i will bow to your superior knowledge, ta

Its not always clear from the side, the fur colour on a weasel between the white and brown varies alot. You can see by its colour, shape and tail that its a weasel.
