| | | Unhappy Hare There has been a digger on the farm over the last few weeks clearing the silt from the bottom of the ditches. This morning when I was talking with the driver, I noticed the back end of a young hare poking out from beneath the undergrowth,
He had chosen that place to rest up for the day and had totally ignored the machine as it aproached him even though it was almost on top of him.
I gently nudged him with my foot and he just stood there for a short time, obviously a bit confused.
You could see he was taking in everything going on around him, his head was going from side to side. After a few moments he gave the machine a sideways look as if he was thinking "where on earth did that come from".
He then turned and trotted slowly away to look for a safer place to get his head down. |

Glad you take such good care around you Snake. It'd be so easy to miss something like that. |
