I sterlised it from top to bottom, when i got back from the vets

I forgot to ask the vet as i was too upset about losing my rabbit

I guessed that might be the case, but perhaps he would answer a telephone call and not charge you an arm and a leg?

Just came in to say that there is another disease that rabbits get, that shows SOME symptoms similar to Myxi. It is known as Snuffles and is also very catching. It is often seen in tame rabbits.If you have several rabbits and one gets it , it usually spreads to all of them to one degree or another.Quite often fatal, the symptoms are mucky eyes, sneezing,mucky nose discharge,leading to secondary infection in lungs, and other painful, very distressing symptoms. (Just to mention that rabbits can get mucky eyes for other reasons,it will not necessarily be snuffles or myxi on the way.Posie.

i do some pest control for a farmer , and honestly seeing this disease on the land upsets me, for the last month i've just put the poor souls out of their misery and enjoyed watching the healthy ones run and frolic . seen 2 warrens go barren . me and my oppo are trying to clear it and i wont take my son as their is no skill or sport ,
honestly , you cannot put them back to see if they recover , its possibly the worst thing you could do , they have about a 10% chance but will infect far more
