I forgot to ask the vet  as i was too upset about losing my rabbit

| | | Re: Advice on Myxomatosis PLEASE Just came in to say that there is another disease that rabbits get, that shows SOME symptoms similar to Myxi. It is known as Snuffles and is also very catching. It is often seen in tame rabbits.If you have several rabbits and one gets it , it usually spreads to all of them to one degree or another.Quite often fatal, the symptoms are mucky eyes, sneezing,mucky nose discharge,leading to secondary infection in lungs, and other painful, very distressing symptoms. (Just to mention that rabbits can get mucky eyes for other reasons,it will not necessarily be snuffles or myxi on the way.Posie. |
