| | | foxes in the garden help!
It is lovely to see the foxes in our garden, catch sight of them sometimes.
BUT what is not nice is what they leave behind!. I sprinkle the contents of used tea bags on the borders to deter cats (very effective) but ignored by t efoxes.
anyone got any suggestions to keep the foxes from fouling in the garden. It really smells disgusting. |

| | | Re: foxes in the garden Know the feeling well, not with foxes but cats!!!
We tried everything, including lion dung, and they just kept coming back
Anyway, splashed out on one of those ultrasonic gizmos and hey presto no cat mess!!!
I can't see any reason why it won't work with foxes however there will be one draw back.......
The foxes won't come back to your garden catch 22 I feel

| | | Re: foxes in the garden dried (as it is sold) we cant smell it, but to wee beasties it still says big nasty cat arround, take care - foxes etc will still come but they are much more cautious and less likely to scent mark, the downside is that it will scare any deer off for good.
you can also get wolf dung which might prove more effective if you want tio scare away the foxes.

| | | Re: foxes in the garden thanks for the advice folks.
I knew about lion dung for cats but the tea bag version when it works is cheaper - good for the soil too.
Think I will try leaving some food out as I definitely don't want to scare the foxes off. Food supplies may mean I actually get to see them more often too. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
