| | | Seal ID Project Hi Guys,
Was just wondering if anyone who lived in Cornwall/South Devon was interested in taking part in a Seal ID Project based in Looe, South East Cornwall. The aim of the project is to see exactly how many seals are living in Looe all year round and how many just pass through. The project is run by the Cornwall Wildlife Trust and has help and talks by the Cornwall Seal Group. This is a new project and we are hoping to start it at the end if this year or the beginning of 2009.
Please send me a message on my profile if you would like any info!
Thanks for reading |

| | Re: Seal ID Project Hi Amelia,
Wish I could help too, but I live in East Kent,
Just to make you feel at home here are a couple of Scottish seals, taken at KIrkaldy, in Fife,
I managed to flop accross the rocks to-wards them and got about 20 mtr from them, got some good pics of both common and greys on the same rocks,
Best of luck with your project.

| | | Re: Seal ID Project Hi guys, thought i would keep you up to date on the Seal surveys that we are doing so her goes...
We went out on our 1st boat trip of the project on the 19th December and that was really exciting. Unfortunately, we didn't see any seals but the expierience was still amazing. If anyone has any pictures of the seals in or around the looe coastline could i please have a look at them, old or new.
Many thanks for everyone who has commented!! | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
