Baby Bat Time

It is that time again when baby bats will start moving about even flying (although still being suckled by their mothers) and could be found outside the maternity roost.
Look up the number of your local Bat Group In Advance,or the BCT www.bats.org.uk keep the numbers with you ,each baby bat is a huge investment for the mother in a dwindling population these may help;

The baby bats will be 6 weeks old now and no longer on mothers milk but catching insects
The bats will be moving out of the maternity colonies and into Autumn mating roosts
