| | | Baby Hedgehogs Hi all
My neighbour has found four baby hedgehogs curled up together but they are out in the open (no protection from preditors or children!!). He has not seen any evidence of the parents and the babies have been there for some hours. Is this normal for them to be left unprotected without any shelter or do you think that the parent(s) may have abandoned them or worse still been harmed or killed themselves??
Sorry i just realised I have posted this on the bird forum ooops!! |

Have the hedgehogs mother returned yet? If not then they def need to be taken in to a rehab centre. St Tiggywinkles will probably give you the best advice (01844 292292) and your neighbour should call the RSPCA (0870 55 55 999) or a local wildife rehab centre. Hope they're ok.
