| | | sparrow hawk when feeding the birds in my garden this morning ,watching from a distance a sparrow hawk came in and unfortunatley took a sparrow . has any one got some good pictures please. |

Any thoughts? |

Thats impossible. I've never been in your garden.
Seriously though. On Saturday, after coming back down of the moors a sparrow hawk was eating its prey in the cul de sac where my hosts live, literally foot away from the front of the car

The bird was at maybe 35 foot, I had a 28-300 but the images were blurred due to my DT's. Settings no doubt wrong on camera. Need to read more

the images were blurred due to my DT's. | always a possibilty but I would suspect that the auto focus has focussed on the windscreen not the bird - you need to put the lense element right up against the glass to avoid this.
