| | | Re: Exmoor deer You could try pming Deer Boy who lives close to Exmoor if he doesn't see this thread soon. When we were over there in June, we were told that there was an area near to Cloutsham (Landranger 181...8943) where there was a good chance of seeing them...but that was then...may be different at this time of year. This location is on the northern side of Dunkery Beacon.

Lyn's pretty much on the button - anywhere around Dunkery should be good - but ..... you're a little early for the rut, the second / third week in October is normally about right for the rut on Exmoor. I'm sure more people will be along in a minute to offer other areas.
