Bat detector from a shop?

I am interesting in buying my first bat detector, but I do not want to buy online. Does anyone know of a shop (possibly in London or the South East) that sells them? TY

mite be worth asking in your local wildlife trust gvisitor center. I know they will order in lenses when asked and they might do the same for bat detectors

Or borrow one if you just want to do a small survey.The folks at my local wildfowl trust were very helpful when I needed to do a survey in the course of a protest regarding a proposed quarry.

I got my bat detector from my local RSPB reserve! I'd give your local reserve a call and see if they sell them

If your problem is just not buying on line- what about over the phone where companies like Alana Ecology or NHBS can deal with phone orders as well as online. I often purchase books from latter + I search online + because of my reluctance to put my card details online, then order by phone.
