We were out yesterday at Over around the new set of reed beds being created from gravel pits when I saw a kestrel hovering over the machinery and conveyor belt still being used to send the raw material to the plant. I could not get near enough to the kestrel for good photographs but my guv'nor spotted this hare. It was very large and contentedly browsing about 20 yards away from the machinery. A very pleasing sighting as we have seen a couple over the years.
