| | | Is it a Mouse I have a raised flower bed with a cemented stone wall on 2 sides and in the earth in one corner a hole 3-4 cm (1") diameter keeps appearing. It goes down at an acute angle for a few inches and then angles off towards the corner of the wall. Is it a mouse and if so, what type of mouse? |

Sounds like a Wood Mouse to me...but its possible it may be a Bank Vole. Maybe try putting a little peanut butter down near the hole and see if you can draw the culprit out for a look at it...

I have woodmice in my raised beds. Like Mark says try to coax him out then if you can get a pic for id on here. I put bird seeds down that brings mine out. |

Thanks for the suggestions. I put out some bird seed and peanut butter last night but they are still there as at 6:00 this morning. We have a bird feeder about 3 yards away so perhaps the mouse/mice feed there. I have put some flour down to see if I can get any paw marks. I will keep you posted. Thanks again.

He perhaps thinks it's been snowing and is staying inside where it's warm
