Definitely a vatervole home.There is a lovely fishing pool in the forest of dean whose name eludes me at the moment but there are resident voles there who will come within 2-3 feet of the bank to feed on bread dropped in for them! |

I've had a blinding day, actually. Been to check three different areas of the town, and in every one I've found a Water Vole latrine straight away. It's really good news. |

Isn't it just fantastic, keep looking, it's a brilliant time of year for Water Vole signs, let's hope the rain doesn't wash everything away!
