They usually disappear into the ivy underneath our hedge where there isn't any bare earth. I'll try laying some soil in strategic places around the food bowl and see if I can get some prints. It won't be before Tuesday though as it's raining now and I'm out tomorrow night.

Dave P. | I`ll try and sort something similar with our hogs tomorrow. I`m also going to make some footprint traps for the Woodmice in the garden when I get the chance.

I can then use the above to create database driven pages that put it all together like this draft: http://www.wildaboutbritain.co.uk/list/mammals/tracks
As more info is added to each of the species the above page will automatically build up more content
