Something has been digging a very large hole in the soil of our front garden during the night! What could it be? We live in a semi-rural position next to woods. |

Almost certainly Badgers - can't think of anything else other than hooligan humans? How big is this hole?

We have Rabbits digging holes in our front lawn but nothing big - huge Rabbit

Thanks all for your replies, still no idea what was digging away, the hole was approx 12" x 10" but hardly any soil was chucked about so whatever it was must be a neat gardener! We think maybe a Hedgehog that spotted a slug? Anyway, hole is now covered back over 'til next time! | | |
