| | | Grey Squirrels I've not seen the pesky things in my garden for a few weeks now and was wondering if they go to specific areas for breeding etc as a group had certainly made themelves at home around the garden for months causing havoc on the bird tables etc and they just seem to have disappeared, any squirrels reading this it's not an invitation to come and trash the place again but I was just curious

| | | Re: Grey Squirrels You are very lucky having them disappear! I had 8 of them on my back lawn yesterday. Every year at this time there seems to be a plague of them. Maybe yours have all come here for a holiday

| | | Re: Grey Squirrels No idea where yours have gone but the young will have left the nest by now , so you will be seeing lots of juveniles. They will also come into the garden more at this time because there's not so much food around for them.
I love them - they are fun to watch and have lovely natures. In my old place I got to know some of them really well and mis them. Hopefully I will get to know the ones here in time

| | | Re: Grey Squirrels Hello They sometimes visit the garden but I think they know the dogs are about so they dont come as much as I would like them too, but I love watching them climb about and the way they eat their food amazing little animals . sheila

| | | Re: Grey Squirrels I'm thinking about making a squirrel assault course - but there maybe too many places for them to cheat!

| | | Re: Grey Squirrels Thanks everyone, I have since wondered that when we had squirrels there were hardly any crows about but we've recently been invaded by them as the sheep have returned into the back field and also perhaps because there's so many nests for them to trash, could this be a reason
