Good numbers of Harbour Porpoise at Dungeness today on a flat sea (the strong NE winds forecast were strangely lacking!), some fairly close in. |

I know they're not native and do damage to gardens etc but they are cute...

... | I agree! I saw another one today, near Aldbury, Herts (didn't get a photo as the light was too bad). I seem to have seen one on most of my walks recently. |

A few Sika hinds in the New Forest yesterday morning & then a Muntjac later. Then this morning in another part of the Forest heard another Munjac barking. |

As soon as we arrived at Blacktoft Sands today the warden in the visitor centre beckoned us to the window where we had 30 seconds to see a Water Vole straight outside the window nibbling reeds

Last night I was lucky enough to see my first ever (live) badger. I was closing the bedroom window at about 1.30am when what I thought was a cat turned out to be a large badger ambling across the road and along the path. Made my day (or night  )
