Do you have Foxes visiting your garden?
Mark H | Unfortunately I haven't a garden but I've been feeding foxes near our local wood for about 6 years now, I've watched their families come and go year after year, this year we've only 6 cubs but last year there were 16 quite a spectacular sight I don't know if it's possible to go back to posts a couple of years ago I used to post a lot about my foxes then, also some pics in the Gallery, unfortunately I've got terminal cancer so can't visit them as much as i'd like to but I've got a good friend who lives next to the wood who'll look after them when I can't. BTW one thing the foxes won't eat is dried cat and dog food, apparently they can't digest it. Anyway I hope you see some of these lovely creatures soon |

Thanks for the tip about the dried food, something to avoid then. Just been up to put the bait out - theyve got a couple of eggs this evening as well as the usual
I`ll check back to read your Fox posts/pics...theyre my favourite UK mammal bar none

Mark H | And mine! Once they get used to you leaving food out try them on raw chicken wings these are as near to their natural diet as possible, a bit expensive mind but to get to see them is worth it |

| | | Re: Mammal of the day Just been chatting to an old fella, who I sometimes see when out walking with my camera, and was told that the area i`ve been baiting is sometimes frequented by youths with rifles, presumably for Rabbits. That`s the end of the baiting there...no way am I going to risk the welfare of the animals i`m trying to photograph and make them an easy target for some Einstein with a rifle. So back to square one yet again.....I give up sometimes!!
