| | | Culling badgers = more foxes? Culling badgers in order to control bovine tuberculosis (bTB) can cause a doubling in fox numbers, UK government scientists have found.
This could impact on livestock farming and conservation, the authors write in Biology Letters journal.
The researchers looked at effects on foxes during the badger culling trials in England between 1998 and 2006. Looky here.

it was almost like ..."but we can't have more foxes because they spread these diseases"!!
Do we have to treat all wildlife like it might be about to kill everything off with disease? |

The online telegraph reports it as well.
Though its probably wise to take with a healthy dose of salt whatever journalists report, and especially the manner itself in which its actually reported...
