There's no way that we would want to stop our sett of badgers making their nightly visits to us.... Been feeding them for a long time now....
But we would really like to have a hedgehog or two or more visiting us as well....
We know that there are some about 1/4 mile away....
The nice informative lady from CRASH will not ( or cannot) let any be released here 'cause of the badgers...
So is it worth building/buying a Hedgehog box and hoping for a visitor finding it attractive and taking up residence??
Or are we barking up the wrong tree???
Should we just be satisfied with our present visitors and leave the envirionment well alone ???
The local badgers are well fed with all the DFLs (Down from Londons) moving into our area since it's been designated a National Park.. ( Won't go down that line )
And I guess we are not the only people round here who put food out for them on a nightly basis....( The badgers NOT the DFLs

)
So do they really need a suppliment of hedgehogs???
Thanks for all the replies....
Back to fixing another bird box...
