This is almost definately a hedgehog poo. It doesn't look like it's from a particularly big hedgehog either.
Please check your shed as he may still be in there and hungry/thirsty. If you find him, weight him please as he could be a young one too light to hibernate. If he is under around 600-650g he will need to be fattened up. If he is light, once you have him, contact a wildlife centre, Tiggywinkes is one such place or they will tell you where your nearest one is if you cannot find one.
In the meantime,please put some food and water in an accessable place for him, where cats cannot get to it. i.e. under a paving slab supported by bricks or in your shed if you suspect he is still in there.
Hedgehogs are struggling to find enough food this time of year in order to put on enough weight for hibernation.
Small hogs will most probably die left to their own devices.
