| | Black Squirrel Hi everyone, I've been really busy working BUT in my free time, I've been camped out at one of my elderly clients homes trying to find her 'black squirrel'......however, it seems she hasn't quite lost her marbles as I saw it, on Friday 27th Oct, hopping gracefully about her pristine garden, digging up the food and eating, 6ft away from me, I must try and get a picture, it was really unusual, not at all dark grey but truly black, I was like "wow, oh my god, look, its real" If I get the picture I'll be posting it on here, along side my perching mandarin duck, which has been illusive of late. |

| | | Re: Black Squirrel Interesting to know where in the country it was that you saw it. As we've said before in other threads, there are black squirrels in parts of North Herts and Cambridgeshire. I've two that live at the bottom of my garden. |

| | | Re: Black Squirrel I've seen Black Squirrels here in Kensworth, South Beds., too - my parents have lived in the village for 50+ years, and the Black Squirrels have always been around as far as they can remember. |

Not truly "black" but very much darker than the average squirrel. The other one that lives in the garden is even darker but more elusive. |
