Please forgive my ignorance and this may seem a silly question but why does putting the food in the box stop the local cats getting to it? I assume that the box must be designed in a way that stops cats getting into it.

I assume that the box must be designed in a way that stops cats getting into it. | Fies thing is the size of the door which is only 4 inches sq. then there is a 12 inch long tunnel which again is only 4 inches wide, and at the end of the tunnel on the right hand side they go through another 4 inch door which leads into the feeding area. |

I'm going to make some more for the Hedgehogs, but I don't think they would be as good as yours! :) |

Just checked the feeders that I made a while ago and found that there is a female hog asleep, this hog had 4 young last year in the hedge somewhere but this year she as taken to one of the boxes.   http://rons-hedgehogs.webs.com/index.htm |
