I've just spent about 15 minutes outside, with Kinky the vixen going to and fro taking food back to her cubs (we can hear but can't see them). She seems to be recovering really well from her mange. Her coat is coming back and there's some decent hair growth on her tail. We've also seen her trotting happily to other feeding grounds across the road.
The one thing I'm concerned about is her eyes. One of the (the left) seemed quite swollen when we started the mange treatment, and as you can see from this photo (taken tonight) the swelling is still evident.
How worried should I be about this? She's otherwise doing great and is doing a sterling job taking food back to the cubs. My inclination is to leave things as they are unless she shows obvious signs of distress. Anything I should be looking out for in particular?
