The following sped up video was captured of a Fox... Video

Yea i noticed that... He seems more unsure of the surroundings than the security light..
He comes in under a small hole in the fence from the front of the house..
That is his only way in and out...

| | | Re: Fox Nice video. I've seen foxes back off like that quite often. They take the food a short distance and then return. It seems fairly common this time of year for them to be slightly edgy. I don't know, but it's struck me that it might be down to the territorial games they play in autumn. They have to watch their patch very closely indeed. I've noticed they also sometimes display nervous behaviour if it's windy (I don't think they like the noise as they're so reliant on hearing). |

Thanks for all the info..
The visits are quite intermittent at the moment... I need to build a little lean to or something for when it does come.. In this weather the food is spoiled easily by the rain.
Its sods law that when i stop putting food out the fox turns up and try's to stick its head in the hog feeding station.

Nige | rather than build another lean too for the fox. How about one of those little doggy tents?? At least it can be moved or removed at times
