| | | special moment I was out on the river bank at 06.30 yesterday morning hoping to catch a sea trout encouraged up stream by the huge tides.
I was casting a fly just below a small weir and I watched a line of bubbles move across the pool and then was delighted to see an otter break surface and climb over the weir and swim upstream. It was totally relaxed and I am sure unaware of me. Was only about 30ft from me. Didnt catch a thing but those few seconds made my day..

| | | Re: special moment Excellent. I used to see a lot more Otters when I used to fish than nowadays. A sight like that more than makes up for a blank day fish-wise
