Its good what the owners of the B&B is doing.
One of the places i visit, I was leaving nuts etc nightly for the badgers in an area i had previously seen them feed. The foxs used to come then as well. It made me wonder if it was a mutual feeding ground. Now I am thinking it more. Wonder if at like your B&B the foxs had learnt that there are scraps to feed from.

Theyve been fed for around 20 years apparently, so yes I suppose they've learned where to find the scraps. Yes I was very close, around 5-6 metres away holding my glass of red I did use the 70-300mm is lens tho so that helped a little.

I get to be 5 metres away regularly but have to admit, never with a glass of red.

just lovely to see photos of badgers and foxes being fed and watched by people running a b&b in west wales, hope more businesses/farmers take up the idea!!

Yes, that would be a great idea. A winner for all concerned? It certainly appeals to me. I would rather stay in one of these "wildlife" establishment, than a regular one.

A Badger & a Hedgehog together must be a rarity, I've read that Badgers and Hedgehogs don't make good companions, Badgers are partial to the odd Hedgehog in lean times but I suppose if food is plentiful they're not competing.

The Badgers that visit my garden love peanut butter sandwiches, one even prefers them to peanuts.
