| | | White Fox !! Could anyone let me know if they have ever seen a white coloured fox please?
I know that there is one in the small woodland at the back of my home, and I have seen it late on an evening sneaking about at the back of the garden, unfortuntley the security light which comes on, scares it, but there are no other lights. (I would not have been able to see it had the light not lit up, each time)
thanks

| | | Re: White Fox !! A good friend saw a white fox several years ago - it turned out to be an escaped Arctic Fox. According to the Handbook, white and albino Foxes are very rare (but do occur)

| | | Re: White Fox !! thanks so much for replying. I have seen pictures of white wolves or the likes, but never a fox. It seemed a little larger than that of a normal fox, but if only we had a built in camera incorporated in us, it would make life much easier to click that button and show others.
I will be keeping an eager eye out in furture, with my camera closeby to try take a pic of it. It maybe it has got free from somewhere, I am not sure, but he/she loved rooting about the back of my garden.

| | | Re: White Fox !! Perhaps, you could tempt it into position (for the camera), by putting out a few tit-bits? I would love to see some snaps of it. Good luck. |

| | | Re: White Fox !! A photo would indeed be great. I've never seen one. Tempting it forward with treats may work, but some foxes are incredibly cautious so it may well be that it hears you and backs off. If you can sit and wait very quietly somewhere nearby you may be lucky. A photo will be tricky though if you're too far away. |

| | | Re: White Fox !! I saw a pure white fox in Kensington last night. Quite a lot larger than usual but definitely a fox. It was fascinating.
Has anybody else seen one in the surrounding area? |

| | | Re: White Fox !! Foxes round here run away if they see a human face, but if I wear a balaclava, or even hold one hand up to camouflage my face shape, they react less nervously. My foxes will come round the house for jam sandwiches or eggs, as well as paenuts. Good luck.
