Jo | Thanks Tragus, I'll be glad to enter them in the reference section. By the way do you happen to have a date and number of pages for these books?
Eventually I'll try to put a quick review to all the books, so any other comments together with the usual book info would be appreciated for further recommendations
Thanks all. |

I have actually got one or two of them already
St Tiggywinkles Wildcare Handbook, (good for basic knowledge in wildlife care)
Practical Wildlife Care (excellent book but some quite gory pictures for the unwary!)
Complete Hedgehog..(Very good book, my boss actually has this one in her library)
One book I do have which is quite old, but has some wonderful photos and is written by David MacDonald.
Running With The Fox
By David MacDonald
Printed by Unwin Paperbacks 1989
ISBN 0-04-440199-X
224 pages
Iv'e given my Practical Wildlife care away so I can't give you any other info on that
but
ST Tiggywinkles Wildcare Handbook
By Les Stocker
Printed by Chatto and Windus Ltd 1994
ISBN 0-7011-3775-4
208 pages

| | | Re: Recommended Mammal Books Thanks Tragus, I have Running With The Fox, it's a great book.
Speaking of Wildlife Care, It maybe a good idea to add a entry in the Reference Section.
Nothing too serious, maybe tips/advice on what to do if you find and injured animal - road casualties etc, and maybe a list of contact details for RSPCA/Wildlife Hospitals in each county.
And a list of recommended books of course!
Any further thoughts? | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
