| | | Water Vole video Just thought I'd post a link to part of a video I shot last Sunday. All together I got nearly 20minutes of this water vole. He seemed very happy eating and was only about 15-20 feet away. YouTube - Water Vole

It's hard enough to find them in the first place let alone try to film them. I must have about 3hrs or so on film mostly taken with the shaky cam with lots of zoom. I was so lucky on Sunday to see him so close and sitting in the near open. I went to the same spot last night, but there was no sign of him and his marking stone was empty of droppings, fingers crossed that he is OK. What a difference a three days makes.
