| | | Re: Stoats and weasels If they are in your area + you have a good accessible wildlife garden there is everychance they may visit. They like lots of nooks + crannies to hide + seek prey. Obviously a source of food such as rodents or Rabbits in your garden may be an incentive to visit! |

| | | Re: Stoats and weasels I live in st.Helens and have seen both stoats and weasels around the sankey valley A good tip is to look for rabbits first and watch them for a while to see if anything happens.I was doing this the other day when about 6 rabbits skuttled into their burrows as a stoat appeared, sniffing the air and standing upright. |

| | | Re: Stoats and weasels yesterday at 9.40 i walked out to the kitchen when in the garden i saw something move,something like a small rabbit size belted it into the back of the garden,hedgerows etc.it was so fast i couldnt keep up with it,it was grey and wasvery fast,i dont think it was a rabbit allthoughw e have them in the woods nearby ive never seen one hear,but it was out on the lawn next to the long grass in the border.
could it of been a stoat or weasel? |

| | | Re: Stoats and weasels They arnt grey more of an brown/orange colour. Although if it was moving quickly, you dont normally get them mixed up with a rabbit, they have a bouncing run, polecats are similar in shape but grey possibly one of these. |

could it of been a stoat or weasel? | no they are nothing like the shape of a rabbit they are long and slim and completly differnt colours cant see one ever being mistaken for a rabbit. |
