Would a fox eat a ferret?

It is possible that a fox would dig out a ferret, however it would have to be hungry as there are far easier meals elsewhere especially in an urban area. Foxes are very opportunistic though. It might be worth knowing that ferrets themselves can bite through fine mesh. For the sake of a few minutes I would personally lift it into the hutch on a night.

You can fix wooden shutters, to bolt over the wire fronts of cages at night. That prevents ferrets getting out and other things getting in.

i hve not read the other posts but yes a fox will eat a ferret its an apex predator any thing it can over power it will eat
