Foxes

I was asked if I had any fox shots so I thought I would post a couple. These are quite grainy as the light was so low but I plan to get some better ones this year.

Thanks for your replies. I have upgraded my camera and lenses a few times over the years but I think these were taken with a 300D and a Sigma 100-300mm f/4.

Why is it that the second shot I have posted has come out smaller? That is a pity as the second one is my favourite.

yes the second one is good,i hope to see foxes this year,any tips? i know early morning or night is best,i alwso want to attract them to the garden as i know there in the woods around the corner

Thanks for your reply Phil. I can't really give many tips as I am still learning to watch them myself. My only tip would be to go and wait where you know they frequently go and see what happens. Not much of a tip I know but that is what I do. It also helps to put some food down as they are scavengers and will eat almost anything.

In June I have found that they are out all day long. I think they must come out and enjoy the warm days. I have seen them out in warm sunshine and they seem extremely active. They do seem braver close to dusk though.

What beautiful photos. I would love the chance to get some like that. We used to get foxes around here but I havn't seen any for ages.

Can't answer the why, but if I click on it and click on the resulting image I can see it a lot larger. Don't know if all computers will let you do this.
