Thought i'd share these vid clips with you all of the first and second confirmed uses of my hogbox by its intended visitors (instead of the pesky cats!!)
Seems they really aren't fussed on wet cat food, or dog food, or cooked chicken either... I think they're munching the sunflower seeds from the mix more than anything else, but I have a plan... i've set-up 6 small tubs with individual food items in (Sunflower Hearts, Crushed Peanuts, Spikes Hog Biscuits, Dried Mealworm, Dried Fruit & Suet Pellets) to see which they prefer

Nice one RED. I was really surprised to see mine really didn't care for catfood (dried or wet) or the specially made hog food.

Lovely videos. I've put out chopped peanut mixed with small pices of dried banana, for mine. I also sprinkle a few live mealworms over the lawn at dusk for them. Then I can watch them as they forage

Well the results are in... and would you believe it they're inconcluve !!! LOL
It had a great time tipping the tubs over and throwing them about tho !!
It went for the sunflower hearts first, then the crushed peanuts, so it has to be assumed it prefers those.
