| | | Very new, so help please Due to the recent bad weather preventing bird photography I thought I would start taking an interest in Lichen and Mosses although looking at the site for novices suggested by Lancashire Lad I think it will be a bit too complicated for me.
Anyway can you help with identification of these please.
Thanks
Dai

Welcome to the lichen forum.
1) Moss - Orthotrichum anomalum
2) The foliose (leafy) lichen is Parmelia sulcata; the bushy one with very narrow branches is Ramalina farinacea.
3) Moss - Hypnum cupressiforme (note the fine, turned down tips to the leaves)
4) A fungus, Stereum hirsutum. It should be light brown on top, but obviously it is in a regularly damp place and green algae are growing among the hairs of the fungus. A nice and slightly unusual picture.
5) A foliose lichen, Flavoparmelia caperata
Good to see such clear photographs!
Alan
