| | | Possible Fuscidea lightfootii for ID help A rare venture into the lichen world - this striking specimen was found growing on willow twigs in an area of wet Willow/Birch woodland in the fen area at Malham Tarn.
Came up with the name by the simple expediency of comparing photos in various books and on various websites (including the excellent Irish Lichens one ). No great confidence in my ID so some gentle hints would be appreciated if I'm way off the right track.
Thanks as always.
