| | | Cladonia identification request I would appreciate help with the identification of a Cladonia species photographed at North Loch Eynort, South Uist, Western Isles, on 17 August
Habitat: in moss on edge of rock outcrop, acid soil, coastal.
I think it may be C. diversa, but any comments and guidance would be appreciated.

| | | Re: Cladonia identification request Yes, this looks very like Cladonia diversa. C. diversa typically has a yellow tinge (usnic acid) but, as I have discussed in a previous thread, this yellow colour does not always show up in digital photographs. Everything else looks right.
