Not even sure whether it's a fungus or a lichen. Can somebody please ID it for me? It was growing on an long dead, grubbed up rose, possibly dog rose, in woodland in Huntingdonshire.

It is a fungus & is a Myxomycetes.Ceratiomyxa fructiculosa |
