lichen for id please

two more lichens from Sherwood forest for id,

1/ growing among moss on top of fallen oak tree,
ive got this one as a Cladonia sp, but which one ?


2/ this was on a branch of a young oak tree, is it a Candelariella sp or a Xanthoria sp, or is it niether of these??

1. is indeed a Cladonia, and because the cups (podetia) flare out near the top and the sides are sorediate, I think its the common C. fimbriata. Often seen on mossy trunks and dead logs.

2. Looks to me like the alga Trentepohlia. See various threads passim.

thanks for the id's, the cladonia is the most commom one i have found in this area to date, the second one is fairly common as well, but fooled me into thinking it was a lichen
