| | | Re: insect? Hiya Lee and welcome.I would say that it's a species of spider-8 legs gets you that far. As to what type-no idea but I'll keep looking. WW

Not sure what it is! At first I thought it was some kind of bug, but it’s got eight legs as WW says. So maybe an arachnid of some sort. I’m sure someone will know.
Here’s the pics (just copy and paste the BB code below the gallery pics into your posts): |

| | | Re: insect? I think it's a mite of some kind (it appears to have one body segment - spiders have two) - but I've no idea which species.

| | | Re: insect? Thanks everyone!
I did first thnik spider but i also thaught spiders usually have two body sections too, a mite seems like a good description but i thaught mites were smaller than this one.
Alan, i did follow the instrutions for attatching my pics to my post but got lost and couldnt find my way back, i will persevere, better luck next time eh?
Cheers for doing it for me!

Lee. | Lee, open two browser windows (explorer) or two tabs (firefox). This makes it easier to switch between gallery and forum. You can always cut and paste into Word or similar too.. |

| | | Re: insect? Hi,
The colour and shape are similar to a Red Velvet mite but the size is wrong.
The size and shape is similar to a sheep tick but the colour is wrong.
Definitely a tick or mite or some sort.
Cant be sure but it seems to have some sort of tick or parasite of its own on its back ! | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
