I have 2 pics for ID I think one is actualy a fly and the other a beetle Iv'e checked out Soldier and bombardier but it's not quite right, can anyone help please,

no ideas for the fly ATM

The Bibionid is more likely to be B.anglicus as B.hortulanus is more abundant in spring. They are two very similar species. Also its a female the males a totally different.
