[ID] bee please.

Maybe 1cm long.
I have an idea or two but would ideally like Eucera or Laurence (or whoever) to throw a suggestion or two my way.

I am seeing lots of these little bees on umbellifers and daisies at the moment. That is a great photograph - love the pollen on the legs.

Cannot give you id worth its salt but I can guess: some kind of Colletes?

I don't know, but what a stunning photo. Love the bees eye, it's beautiful and I'm with John re the yellow pollen on it's legs. A wonderful image!

I'm sure Eucera will be along soon to ID it for us.
I'm heading towards the "Banded Mining Bee" (Andrena (Zonandrena) gravida or Andrena Fasciata) but I'm sure Stuart will put an abrupt end to my shilly-shallying with this bee ID!
Probably something completely different!!!

These would be Colletes - and probably (but not certainly) C. daviesanus.
