Have not got a clue but i am made up with the pic,when i run out of birds i might have to get a decent macro lens or at least take a tripod

It's certainly a lovely pic. You don't say anything about where you took the pic or tha habitat, both of which might give some clues. It is certainly a male Bombus and could be B. pascuorum, B. muscorum or B. humilis. Without looking at the business end under a microscope, I really can not say

i was at mere sands wood in the meadow walk,plenty of dragonflies and damselflies about too
