Hi All,
Had this pair of bees mating on my Wisteria the other day. Can anyone tell me what species they are. It might not be obvious in the pic but the tip of their abdomens is a reddish colour.

Bombus pratorum. The first males are out now, reaching a peak in the last week of the month. The males LOVE nectaring at purple-flowered garden Geranium |
