| | | Spider id from near my pond
This spider was near my pond. It was not playing ball as he kept running away and hiding from me. Hope there it enough detail for an id. I am hopless an measurements but I think he was about the size of a 2 pence piece. He wasn't in the pond just on the grass next to the pond.  |

It's a male Lycosidae, a wolf spider.
Can't really tell which species it is from this photo sadly.

My lastest thought seems right then, a Wolf. Keep an eye out for more and note size, etc.
