ID for yellow caterpillar, please.

Hello again, Mick m'darlin'
Wow, you've put a lot of effort into trying to ID this caterpillar of mine! All those statistics... I hope you're taking time off to eat and drink!

I assumed that my caterpillar was that of a plume moth 'cos that's what it reminded me of. Have I/we been barking up the wrong tree? Should we be looking elsewhere?

Has anyone else got any ideas?

I would like to thank Mick E Talbot for all his hard work concerning my fluffy yellow caterpillar and pointing out that it probably isn't the larva of a Plume Moth.

I'd aslo like to thank Janet (JRsbugs) for her help in finding it on the site below. We can confirm that it is a 15mm (approximately) larva of the Buff Ermine Moth, Spilosoma luteum.
