The insect looks familiar but I cant find what it actually is - and only managed a couple of photos of it before it flew off.

I get these regularly in my Robinson moth trap during the summer months.
One of these even attacked a fellow member in his neck one evening during a moth-ing session in our local woods!!

Will have a look at the ichneumon wasps and see if I can get a positive ID. It certainly looks like the one mentioned above, but I can see what Dogghound says about the wings.
